Replacement Regulation in Alaska

Effective immediately, the state of Alaska has adopted a regulation which follows the NAIC Model Replacement Regulation for life insurance and annuities.

All applications for life insurance and annuities in the state of Alaska must be accompanied by the generic replacement form if the client has existing life insurance and annuities -- even if the client is not making a replacement.

The Replacement Form is included with all Alaska application packets on AppBuilder - at the "AppBuilder" link and will be required beginning on Monday, March 13th.

For more information on the new replacement law, please refer to the Business Guidelines, at the Best Practices link.
