As announced in January 2012, Florida has some important applicant age distinctions.

For applicant ages 65 and over
MarketPower Bonus is not available to individuals age 65 and over unless the applicant is an Accredited Investor. The Accredited Investor form must be completed prior to the solicitation of the product. To be an Accredited Investor, applicants must have at least one of the following:
• Net worth over $1 million
• Annual income over $200,000 (individual) or $300,000 (joint)

The Accredited Investor form is included automatically for app packets created on AppBuilder when selecting the MarketPower Bonus, for Florida customers age 65 or older. Any application for an individual age 65 and over must include a signed and completed Accredited Investor form.

In addition to the Accredited Investor Form requirement, clients will also be contacted by phone to verify their Accredited certification. Calls must be completed and accreditation verified before contracts will be issued. If calls or verification cannot be completed, you may be contacted to discuss next steps.
